We are sourcing for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer for a client who is a supplier of building materials to the trade.

About the role :

  • The Desktop Support Engineer will assist staff with hardware and software issues.
  • You will be responsible towards providing on-site or remote technical assistance including the setting up of computer hardware systems, installing and upgrading software, and troubleshooting IT issues as well as supporting the administration of IT for our client.

About you:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience of performing level 1 and 2 support
  • Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detailed knowledge of various desktop and server operating system and remote connection systems
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and particularly Azure Active Directory
  • Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
