A varied and forward-thinking residential property developer with a construction arm and with a significant property portfolio's in New Zealand is currently looking to expand its development team. You will be responsible for the assessment and validation of development opportunities. Projects are large scale residential super lots, subdivisional with a range of composition housing, including terraced housing, small apartments, multi units as well stand alone housing. The key focus is to convert development opportunities into deliverable projects through sustaining both internal and external relationships.
You will come from a residential property development company with experience on residential and/or mixed use development opportunities. This role is all front end, you will be delivering feasibility studies, analysing new opportunities, preparing business cases and must have the ability to ‘think outside the box’. Although development experience is preferred, those from a consultancy background with expertise in feasibility studies will also be considered. Other areas you are naturally strong at are negotiating vendor contracts, understanding commercial contracts, risk and stakeholder management.
These roles would fit a junior and/or an intermediate looking to develop your career in development management.
You will be rewarded with a salary between $80K and $100K plus benefits.
