We have an urgent requirement for a DevOps Engineer for a 12 month contract working anywhere in New Zealand. Supporting a major financial institution, this role will support fast data platforms - developing and deploying solutions and maintaining existing data. This role will be overseeing high volume data events using CI/CD pipelines, therefore exposure to data systems, pipelines and analytics is essential.
To be suitable for this role you will require the following skills and experience:
- Experience with data streaming at high velocity and at-scale
- Agile and DevOps experience - ideally within the financial sector
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines from scratch, or designed around data science and analytics
- DevOps tool chain and release management
- Experience with Remedy, Jira and Confluence
