A great opportunity has arisen for a senior communications professional with experience at both a corporate and journalism/executive producer or similar editorial level.

This exciting and challenging senior inhouse role sits within a corporate affairs team within a large, interesting and complex organisation.

This role is focused on managing and delivering communications and content across a diverse internal and external stakeholder level. There will be plenty of diversity and challenge on offer in this role, as well as the opportunity to manage a direct report - with the possibility of more in the future.

To be considered you will need:

  • Senior corporate communications experience (including at a content writing and strategic level);
  • A journalist/executive producer or similar editorial background;
  • Well-developed communication skills both at a written and spoken level (including video production);
  • Ability to produce engaging and varied content to both an internal and external audience (including the ability to explain complex issues to stakeholders);
  • Sound grasp of the social, political and media landscape;
  • People management experience ideally;
  • A qualification in communications/media;
  • Current working rights to work in NZ.
