Up to $150 per hour to the contractor
I am supporting a large and complex public sector organisation seeking an experienced Employment Relations Specialist to join their team on a contract basis, starting immediately and going through to Christmas 2026.
This role combines specialist ER expertise with project-based work, including the review and enhancement of employment relations policies, frameworks and processes. You'll provide expert advice on complex and high-risk ER matters, particularly where legal implications, organisational change, or policy interpretation are involved.
Working alongside an experienced ER team, you'll act as the escalation point for the most complex cases while spending much of your time leading improvement initiatives and policy review.
What we're looking for:
- Extensive employment relations experience within large, complex organisations
- Deep expertise managing high-risk and technically complex ER issues
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and policy implications
- Experience reviewing, developing and improving HR/ER policies and frameworks
- Ability to provide pragmatic, risk-based advice to senior stakeholders
