They are now looking for a driven and motivated commercially minded estimating manager that is interested in becoming a part of this company's future contributing to the profit targets and setting out overall direction.
Working with the commercial director, the key focus of the role is to assist in managing the tendering and estimating tasks of the construction process from start to completion, the role requires precision estimating understanding margins and quality tendering. Areas of responsibility include, analysing information for the preparation and presentation of tender projects, negotiating procurement or merchant supply contracts, attending meetings, identifying opportunities for growth and evaluating the feasibility of these opportunities, process improvement, and ensuring quality.
In order to be a success in this position, you must have at least 10 years of estimating experience across a range of commercial builds as well as knowledge of the local market, understanding rates and commercial construction legislation. You possess a relevant tertiary qualification.
