This is an established interiors and fit out consultancy with decades of experience with a really positive reputation in the market. They take on projects across various sectors including retail, hospitality and commercial office fitouts. The role will be their in house QS and will mainly be working across estimating and working with project managers on sub contractor management.
As their QS, you will be involved in the entire process both pre and post contract, from tender management and preparing estimates/take offs, post contract work including controlling all costs on projects, certifying subcontractors work, identifying variations, costing variation works, agreeing subcontractors final accounts and reporting to directors. There will be site visits involved.
As an applicant, you will have:
- 5 - 8 + years of Estimating/QS experience either in a main contractor or an interiors company with a strong understanding of tendering and contract administration
- You have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical ability
- A team player with a proactive attitude
Salary $80K - $100K pending experience
