Executive Assistant – Temporary Assignment

  • EA support to General Manager
  • Commencing 1 August to 27 August 2018 covering annual leave
  • Large Government agency located in Wellington CBD
  • $30 to $35 per hour depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a busy General Manager while his EA goes on leave.   This role is busy with diary management, monitoring emails, papers for meetings and general administration support.   Being one step ahead and anticipating needs will help you manage a diary that is often changing.  

Responsibilities include:

  • One on one support to the General Manager
  • Diary and email management
  • Preparing papers for meetings and briefing packs
  • Attending management meetings and taking action point minutes
  • Coding expenses and general administration support to the wider team

To be successfully considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following competencies and attributes:

  • Proven experience in EA roles supporting senior executives
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
  • Able to build effective working relationships
  • Proven knowledge of the Microsoft suite
  • Calm under pressure and able to deal with change
