This successful small to medium sized commercial main contractor has a developed a strong footing in the under $20M build category across commercial, education, retail, refurbishments, community and weather tightness projects. As a result of a run of new contracts being awarded, currently they require a site manager, more at senior level
Key components of this role are:
- Being responsible for the safe, timely and quality delivery of projects from inception to completion
- Managing a small team including a Foreman
- Management and coordination of all sub trade, liaising with suppliers and consultants
- Material ordering
- Monitoring site safety, promoting a teamwork approach and driving the project to stay on program
Your background requires:
- A minimum of 7 years experience working as a Site Manager on commercial projects under $20M
- Trade carpentry qualified
- A strong work ethic and "can-do" attitude
- A knowledge of local sub trades is beneficial
- Able to train and share knowledge
- Quality workmanship track record backed by strong references
- Commercially astute
- Excellent client management and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate and savvy with MS Project/Procore
This role offer the opportunity to take on more project management related tasks pending the candidates ambition and drive.
Salary $140K - $160K + a vehicle
