My client is looking for a qualified financial accountant. The role reports to the Manager - Financial Accounting and the main focus of the role will be on reviewing work of the Revenue and Expense Management officers, and providing back-up for the Financial Accountant when required.
Duties:
- CFIS return experience
- Leadership skills to lead month end and process improvements
- Tax and IPSAS standards knowledge
Person Specification:
- Chartered Accountant (or equivalent qualification recognised by CAANZ) would be an advantage.
- General knowledge in GAAP and New Zealand Taxation Practice.
- Extensive experience in financial processing (5yrs+).
- Previous experience in supervising other staff.
- Experience developing and implementing business process improvements.
- Strong Excel spread sheeting skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
