The Client:
My client is a high-profile national distribution organisation that is constantly changing and has recently experienced unprecedented growth. As part of this growth, they are looking for a dynamic individual to join their business.
About the Role:
Reporting to the team leader this highly commercially focused role provides financial and analytical support for several branches across the business.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Provide accurate and timely month end and year-end financial statements
- Provide high quality operational accounting and support to the branch network
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders – This is not a desk bound role!
- Provide consulting on accounting and accounting governance matters including analysis to senior managers
- Work effectively with external stakeholders – auditors and tax consultants
About You:
You will be an outgoing energetic individual with a desire to develop and build your commercial expertise in an organisation that values their people.
Ideally you will have the following skills/experience:
- Financial Accounting
- Solid technical accounting skills
- Strong analytical skills (Excel - Intermediate)
- Knowledge of an ERP Accounting system
- CA/CIMA/CPA/ ACCA etc or close to qualifying
- Relationship and stakeholder management
