This is the perfect opportunity for a BAS accountant or Auditor that is looking to get into your first financial accounting role in a large, complexed government organization.  The purpose of this role assists in meeting the organization's mandatory financial planning, accounting and reporting requirements from an organizational accountability and governance perspective.

Accountabilities:
  • Assist with the consolidation and review of budgets and forecasts 
  • Prepare information for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • CFIS returns
  • support the delivery of a monthly finance report
  • Develop and manage the monthly / year end process 
  • Support management with external audit and other stakeholders' management requirements
Knowledge and experience:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Auditing, Financial or BAS accountant role
  • Experience in the preparations of budgets and budgetary control
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting / finance or another business-related discipline
