We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a well-established public sector organisation where you will play a key role in providing financial advice, analysis, reporting, and decision support to leaders across the business. About the Role
Reporting to a senior finance leader, you will provide trusted financial advice and support across a broad range of activities, including:
- Financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Budget development and ongoing financial management
- Financial planning and decision support
- Month-end and year-end financial processes
- Financial controls, compliance, and audit support
- Continuous improvement initiatives and project involvement
You will work closely with managers and operational leaders, helping them understand financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and make informed business decisions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in a financial advisory or management accounting role
- Strong financial analysis and problem-solving capability
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to translate complex financial information into practical business insights
- Experience working with financial systems and advanced Excel skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach to supporting business outcomes
