My client is the shining light in their industry, with significant press and media exposure they are going from strength to strength, having already achieved their initial goals with their products already highly profiled and selling above expectations with key clients.
This role will give you the opportunity to join a genuine start up organisation with ambitious plans and entrepreneurial spirit at the right time. They have already secured key investors, successfully completing funding rounds, and are now ready for the next phase in their journey.
As the Financial controller your role will be to manage the full finance function including:
- Commercial strategic Support
- Preparation of board reports
- Management reports
- Presenting at a board level
- Strategic finance support
- Cashflow Forecasting
To be considered for this position it is essential you are CA qualified or equivalent, ideally from a Big 4 background with commercial in a fast-paced forward-thinking organisation with a start-up and/or FMCG. Some experience with capital raising, investor management etc would be useful but not essential for the right person. You will have strong technical skills and leadership capability.
As the organisation is in the key growth phase, this will be a robust role managing a direct report and guiding them through the sensitive growth phase. This role will be hands on in all aspects of the finance function, however long term this role presents a great opportunity to grow with the business, support the strategic development and get in on the ground floor.
