I am currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Systems Analyst, to work as part of a motivated team, in a large public sector environment. Reporting to the Manager, Finance and Information Systems, this role's purpose is to ensure the successful running of the Oracle FMIS, across BAU and project work.

Duties Include:
  • Liaise with FMIS and other teams, to recommend, develop and deliver system specific requirements  
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors during system design and enhancements 
  • Conduct fault analysis, prepare and submit change requests to fix faults and enhance processes
  • Routinely review user access, security settings and system controls 
  • Ensure system capability at acceptable levels, by working across teams 

We Are Looking For: 
  • Previous experience working as a Financial Systems Analyst, or Systems Accountant in an Oracle environment
  • Previous knowledge and experience with SQL, withTM1 knowledge desirable 
  • Working knowledge of the Public Sector Finance Act and current accounting standards 
  • Technical data manipulation skillset, with the ability to analyse and present data using various tools
  • Experience in building relationships, with the ability to translate information into outputs which are readily interpreted by others
