Job Description
This main contractor has a strong presence in Northland and is building a range of projects from $3m - $50M. They have current projects that require specific experience working on fitout and refurbishment aspects for one of their $150M+ projects.
This is a contract role up to a period of up to 5 months with potential to go permanent for the right candidate. AT this stage the projects are more fitout and upgrades but potential to move into larger projects as anticipated work gets secured later in the year.
As a site manager you will be responsible for the coordination of sub contractors onsite, H+S compliance, driving the project program to meet time and budget whilst providing relevant site reports. You will have Foreman reporting to you and be reporting into a Senior Site Manager.
Key skills required for this role are:
- A minimum of 8 years site manager experience in fitout, interiors, refurbishments and/or new build commercial projects under $10M
- Strong site based management capability with a track record of managing sub-contractors delivering on time, and within budget
- Excellent finishing experience with high levels of attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Carpentry trade qualification

Salary: $130K - $140K or hourly rate $65 - $70 p/h
