About the role:
Our client is looking for a functional analyst to join their team in Christchurch. You will be investigating and resolving issues raised from Customer Support, users or through application monitoring, following an agreed process for third tier resolution
- Reactively manage problems against agreed service levels, activating P1 processes where required.
- Communicating to application owners and users regarding application releases, issues and other support information
- Ensure all issues are logged as required in internal tracking/reporting systems
- Manage change and the successful deployment of application maintenance (bug fix) releases.
- Determine requirements and document these in a form that can be used to design and develop systems changes
- Ensure adequate maintenance and support requirements are factored into the design and production of application changes and release to the business.
About you:
You will come with:
- Strong IT and System focus
- Skills in one of the following: - business process modelling, requirements specification, system mock-ups/wireframes
- Solid background of testing experience
- Have an eye for the fine attention to detail
- Be of an investigative nature which allows you to identify issues to work with the IT team and partners to resolve in a timely manner
- Solid background of testing experience
- Experience in the tourism industry preferred
