We are seeking an experienced H&S Advisor to join a leading industrial service provider in Christchurch. Candidates wanting to relocate are welcome.
Industry sectors that are well aligned are transport, manufacturing, industrial or construction.
The role works with frontline employees and Managers to provide information on how to comply with internal and external standards, will involve advisory on compliance, training, risk assessment, injury prevention and management support to multiple branches. Also involves risk identification, incident management, health programmes and reporting.
The role involves 3 days travel per month.
We are looking for a person with 3+ years proven expereince in a similar role with a thorough understanding of H&S legislation, who is IT systems savvy, experienced with HSNO, risk identification experience, training experience and injury management skills.
You will have excellent communication skills, a resilient and confident presentation, someone who is approachable, friendly and not afraid to have robust discussions, and give feedback.
