Outstanding Opportunity for an entry-level or intermediate-level H&S Advisor- or an experienced Senior H&S Coordinator looking for the next step with a global leader in packaging and resource recovery that is pioneering in sustainability.
This role requires the successful applicant to be present on-site and work alongside logistics, production, and engineering.
You will have the following responsibilities:
Providing HSE support to the Operations Manager and the HSE team.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders through consultation, training, and development.
Facilitating safety meetings including preparation and circulation of the meeting agenda and minutes.
Facilitating coordination of ACC requirements.
Ensuring that relevant HSE Alerts are circulated and followed up.
Managing reporting.
Assessing risks within the workplace which includes reviewing and auditing current HSE policies and procedures
Developing SOP’s & completing risk assessments
Assist with the preparation of environmental requirements/permits
Structuring HSE documents for accessibility by teams
Conduct incident investigations
Actively manage your areas of responsibility by using initiative, suggesting ways of improving systems for greater efficiency
Providing implementation support for projects.
Key Requirements for this role:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Manufacturing experience
Safety Legislation inclusive ISO 4801.
Good communication skills
