An opportunity has arisen to join their Health & Safety team in the commercial and residential, interiors and building refurbishments industry sector.

Key Responsiibilities:

  • Ensure the Health, Safety and Environmental standards & objectives of the Company are positively promoted and complied with
  • Take a proactive approach to the ongoing improvement of management systems through audit, education and coaching
  • Work as a team to effectively utilise resources
  • Prepare and deliver a Health and Safety reports
  • Check all Health & Safety Meeting Minutes from sites and take follow up actions where necessary
  • Issues from site meetings are proactively followed-up and resolved
  • Coordinate and Chair the National Health & Safety committee meetings and any other HSE meetings that are arranged
  • Assist Project Managers in their review of subcontractor SSSP
  • Maintain the national hazard register
  • Manage the drug and alcohol programme including random testing and drug searches
  • SoP training
  • Provide advice and assistance where requested or identified to Project Managers, Site Supervisors and Sites in general
  • Build close relationships with employees so they recognise you as a trusted colleague
