I am looking for a Health & Safety Specialist with 3-5 years' experience to join a global manufacturing organisation. This is not a high-risk environment and will work closely with the operations team and have responsibility for:

• H&S compliance with NZ safety legislative requirements
• Partnering with the HR team on the wellbeing programme
• Workplace safety management programmes
• Risk assessments
• Conducting regular site audits
• Hazard inspections and hazardous substance management
• Delivering training to managers, supervisors & employees
• Health & Safety champion

This is one site and will be in a manufacturing /assembly warehouse and will report to the Production Manager.

If you have up to date NZ legislation knowledge, and a qualification in H&S, have a disciplined and practical approach, have excellent communication and influencing skills- then we want to hear from you!
