Join a Payroll Team of 7, within a wider HR Team for a not-for-profit organisation based in Wellington CBD. This role ensures the accurate reporting of employee data to ensure the needs of the business are accurately met.

Duties Include:

  • Provide analysis of Payroll/HR data into relevant reports, catering to the individual needs of the wider business
  • Assist with the creation of reports as needed, implementing and maintaining regular reporting
  • Apply relevant legislation and policy to ensure Payroll practices are consistent with best practice
  • Ensure accurate records of employee and payroll data are kept, providing backup support to the HRIS and Payroll Team Leader

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience as a Payroll professional with experience across reporting and analysis, a tertiary qualification with focus on data analysis is preferred
  • Robust knowledge of payroll principles and legislation, with an ability to identify business improvements
  • Proven analysis skillset with the ability to come up with solutions to optimise payroll business processes
  • Advanced MS Excel skillset, with experience in HRIS preferred
