A high growth PQS office with a sharp reputation for providing innovative cost solutions are now looking to add another member to their Bank Funding Team. They have a collegial social office culture with a team of high performing and passionate professionals. The business is well structured and opportunities exist for promotion and development.
This role would see you working with an array of clients from developers, architects, contractors providing cost assurance to banks directly. You will be working directly with these clients to secure funding as well as providing accurate cost reports throughout the project process. You would be understanding and critiquing development feasibilities and buildability of project through to managing risks in terms of time/costs/budget/program through the construction process, with regular on site visits and attendance of PCG meetings.
You will need to possess a strong knowledge of the construction methodology process as well as being able to effectively communicate issues/risks . Your experience to date could be worked either as a contractor QS or PQS of about 5 years, but the interest and focus would be to expand your bank funding knowledge with exposure to even a greater variety of projects.
You have sound communcation skills, a high learning and developent appetite and fit well into teams.
The key ingredient for this role is desire to learn and having a sound understanding of the construction process.
