This company is a successful smaller contractor that operates in the commercial space, with mixed project portfolios including refurbs and fitouts and light/medium commercial. They have several new contracts secured for the year with no sign of work abating. They are led by highly successful directors, experts in their respective fields intially from larger contractors. They have an abundance of knowledge to share, an impressive career history with a large network of clients and contacts. Service delivery, relationship maintenance and development is paramount to their success. The culture of this company is energetic, open minded, team based and rewarding. Staff turnover is minimal.
Due to this growth, their is now a real need for a driven estimator/qs who is keen to make their mark on this company.
In this role you will be:
- Compiling tender submissions dealing with all sub-contractors during the tender stage
- Reviewing scopes of work, plans and contracts and providing accurate and detailed estimates
- Contract negotiations
- Risk analysis and management
- Managing the project from start to completion, including budgeting and planning, delivery, financial reporting and valuation of variations
To be a success in this role you must come from an estimating and QS background with broad project exposure. Your experience level is anywhere between 4 - 8 years. You are a self starter, possess a "can do attitude" and are passionate about your work and client service delivery. You are looking to join a like minded team of enthusiastic professionals.
In reward for your efforts you will be rewarded with a salary of between $90K - $120K plus usual benefits such as IPhone and laptop.
