A progressive and well-established commercial construction company is experiencing sustainable growth and is now seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their busy team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of $50M+ commercial projects, with significant exposure to site-based delivery. The role will involve travel outside of Auckland for approximately 2–3 weeks per month, with all flights and accommodation fully paid.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing cost schedules
• Carrying out measures using CostX
• Trade analysis, negotiation, review and appointment
• Reviewing drawings and documentation for cost impact
• Valuation of variations and VO assessments
• Cost control, claims processing and payment claims

About You

• 3–5 years’ NZ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the commercial construction sector
• Strong understanding of on-site construction processes
• Experience with CostX and commercial cost reporting
• Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying
• Well-organised, detail-focused and commercially astute
