Due to continued growth our well-respected client has a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player, to service customers both over the phone and trade counter.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receive sales enquiries (over phone, email and trade counter) and follow up with quotes and pricing enquiries
  • Contribute to the customer service team by assisting other sales staff and counter sales
  • Accurately enter cash sales, picking slips and invoices into the computer system
  • Arrange credits for incorrect pricing and returned goods at point of sale; identify reason for credit and rectify problems to eliminate future credit
  • Ensure sufficient levels of stock are available and advise purchasing department of stock requirements

Skills and experience required:

  • A demonstrated capacity to pick up and learn a broad range of technical product knowledge in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional customer service focus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • High attention to detail and solid organisation skills

This role would be on a roster system: Tuesday - Saturday, or Sunday - Thursday
Shifts vary from 7am - 4pm or 10am - 7pm
