My client is a recognised brand in their field, specialising in state-of-the-art materials, precision engineering and manufacturing. Their Auckland-based site is a highly efficient operation designed to produce world class products to their global clients.
The Role:
This role plays an essential role as part of a high performing team. As the stock controller you will, be responsible for ensuring stock levels are monitored, replenished, and measured in the release to the production teams, ensuring there is consistent supply of raw materials.
This is a critical role that will see you at the heart of the production cycle. You will be required to use your judgement and experience to improve and develop the existing operation.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Purchasing
- Supplier relationship management
- Stock handling and management (inwards)
- Maintaining inventory records
About You:
You will be an experienced stock controller, ideally from a manufacturing or industrial background and meticulous with attention to detail.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Stock management experience
- Stockroom maintenance
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong relationship management skills (internal and external)
