Beyond’s and my services have been engaged once again exclusively by our client, a specialist manufacturer in the marine industry that is considered in the top 10 globally in their field. Their clients include elite international racing team’s who perform at the highest level, requiring state-of-the-art of equipment to ensure they are at the cutting edge of the sport. The client’s business has customers globally, shipping to America, Europe and Asia respectively.

About the Role

My client is searching for an Inventory manager to join their highly successful and busy team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day inventory control, system management, purchasing, procurement and cycle counting to ensure the 1200+ SKU is maintained efficiently and kept at optimal levels. This position gives great responsibility and ownership of the environment, working closely with the production manager to ensure all required materials are organised and available.

About you

You will have relevant experience in stock / inventory control, preferably in the marine industry with 3-5 years’ experience in Procurement, Stock Control, Purchasing and Planning or Inventory Management. You would also possess the following attributes:

  • Strong relationship building
  • Good attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Advanced administrational IT acumen
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
