My client is a well-known retailer across the FMCG category. Due to the ongoing growth and development of their business they have a new role for an In-wards Goods Manger

The Role

Reporting to the National Distribution Manger, your role will be to co-ordinante and manage a team of 6-10 individuals supporting the warehouse operations. As this is a new position you will be heavily involved in the structure and continuous improvement of the facility, setting the tactical strategy and lead the team. Your team will process the inwards stock, ensure it is compliant and recorded accurately with a high degree of quality control.

About You

You will be an experienced leader, know how to manage people and to get the best out of them, whilst a roll the sleeves up mentality is important, it is more important that you are able to manage and motivate the team. You will be an experienced inwards good specialist and may be an existing Manager looking for a fresh opportunity to make your mark, or a supervisor that is looking for the next step in your career. It is critical you have excellent communication skills, verbally and written with an enthusiastic can-do attitude.
