  • Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer
  • 6 months contract
  • Auckland
     
We’re looking for a Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer to deliver and support enterprise infrastructure, with a strong focus on on-prem environments and cloud migration. This is a hands-on leadership role driving performance, security, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement on-prem infrastructure; lead cloud migration initiatives
  • Monitor performance, manage Windows & Linux servers, and maintain AD, PKI, SCCM/SCOM
  • Oversee backup & DR (Commvault) and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Implement security controls and ensure compliance with governance frameworks
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Drive resilience through high availability, disaster recovery, and incident response

To be considered you must have:
  • Proven experience in a lead infrastructure role
  • Strong Windows & Linux expertise
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise tooling and cloud migrations
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
