This mid size contractor has experienced phenomenal growth with smart Directors at the helm targeting jobs in the $5M - $20M range with successful wins and/or impressed clients offering repeat work. They now have further capacity to take on a Leading Hand/Site Foreman with the view to gaining further experience/knowledge working under experienced site managers. This contractor has robust training and development plans in place to allow positive career growth.
The role is based on a rannge of projects and requires hands-on experience, working with subcontractors and leading the site. Typically, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of all activities including safety and the supervision of suppliers, subcontractors and contractors to meet time and quality agreements.
You will have a carpentry trade qualification and at least 7 years site experience across commercial or multi residential projects. You are a great communicator who can liaise effectively with clients, subbies and the team. You should be a person who can demonstrate commitment in previous roles and be confident to date in your performance.
This role would most suit a leading hand or foreman looking to get in with a company offering more structure and organisation than you are currently receiving.
Salary $40- $45 per hour + Veh or perm salary equivalent.
