We are seeking a Systems Engineer who is a specialist in Linux. You will be supporting a significant customer’s needs in terms of service in the Linux space for a leading technology business.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Significant experience with Linux (RHEL, OEL, CentOS and/or SUSE) and Solaris
- Skills with System Operations and Management tools such as Oracle OEM and RedHat Satellite, and Service Management tools such as ServiceNow or Unicenter Service Desk
- Awareness of virtualization, IaaS/PaaS offerings, and automation tools such as Puppet and Ansible
- Knowledge of systems operations, security, capacity planning, disaster recovery, problem resolution and performance analysis
- Scripting skills
