This role is critical in keeping my client's production facility running at peak performance. This is a high-impact, site-critical role responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production equipment. You’ll be at the centre of preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement, and asset management. With a state-of-the-art manufacturing site and commercial momentum to scale up their operation in the near future, this is a chance to get on board with a high performer in their prime.

Day to Day:
  • Help guide the Preventative Maintenance Programme
  • Diagnose and respond to equipment breakdowns (on-call roster 24/5)
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive long-term fixes
  • Support capital projects, installations, and commissioning
  • Drive LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement across engineering
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, industry, and Health & Safety standards
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification (trade, diploma, or degree)
  • Ideally electrically qualified (licensed or equivalent)
  • 8+ years’ experience in FMCG or food manufacturing
  • Strong mechanical & electrical fault-finding skills
  • Proven experience with preventative maintenance systems & asset management
  • Solid understanding of LEAN / continuous improvement principles
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with great communication skills
