This is a well-known property management company with around 600 tenants/properties on their books at present and growing by the month. They currently have all of the maintenance outsourced to various companies that supply these services for tenants. The team collaborates well and is one of the most successful franchises in the country.
They are now looking to take the supply of these services in house and to on board a maintenance manager that can take responsibility for the overall planning, programming, and delivery of these services. They can vary across building/maintenance works, electrical work, plumbing and painting.
The initial works will be around the building jobs but with ability to build a small team under you from other trades.
We are looking for a carpenter or a handyman/woman (he/she/them) that has the ability to coordinate various maintenance projects, including quoting and arranging supply of materials and including working on the tools.
We are looking for a self-starter, a person that is eager and with appropriate experience in completing repair jobs, maintenance jobs and small projects. An understanding of quoting and being able to build a system to record information and programming of work.
It may suit a person that has run a small business independently but is keen to work for an employer with less administration work and have the satisfaction of secure income and plenty of challenge.
Salary: $60K - $75K + veh
