The Opportunity

As a commercially minded Management Accountant, you’ll sit at the centre of operations, strengthening costing accuracy, elevating performance visibility, and enabling faster, smarter decision‑making across the manufacturing network.

The Role
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and insightful financial support across manufacturing operations. It combines product costing, manufacturing analysis, and operational partnering to drive efficiency, integrity, and continuous improvement.

• Maintain accurate product costing, Bills of Materials, and inventory data.
• Support month‑end close with data checks and variance analysis.
• Provide manufacturing performance insights to guide operational decisions.
• Partner with operations to improve efficiency and cost control.
• Assist with stocktakes and ensure raw material and finished goods accuracy.
• Support CAPEX analysis and project costing.
• Drive continuous improvement across ERP, costing, and manufacturing processes.

Your Profile to be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience within New Zealand
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost drivers
• ERP proficiency and strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail and a proactive, results-focused approach
• Effective stakeholder engagement across finance and operations

Ideally you will have an accounting degree and be working towards your CA, CIMA, or CPA qualification.
