Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant looking for an opportunity to add real value to business decision-making? We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join a high-performing team, providing financial insights, reporting, and analysis that support strategic and operational outcomes.
About the Role
This is a broad and varied role that will see you partnering with leaders across the organisation to deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and meaningful commercial analysis.
You will play a key role in supporting business performance by turning financial data into actionable insights while driving continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Provide commercial analysis and insights to support decision-making
- Monitor financial performance and investigate variances
- Partner with operational leaders to improve financial outcomes
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Support cashflow forecasting and financial modelling
- Prepare business cases and investment analysis
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar commercial finance position
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems capability
- A proactive and commercially focused mindset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
- CA, CPA, or progress towards a professional accounting qualification is highly regarded
