Job Description

Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant looking for an opportunity to add real value to business decision-making? We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join a high-performing team, providing financial insights, reporting, and analysis that support strategic and operational outcomes.

About the Role

This is a broad and varied role that will see you partnering with leaders across the organisation to deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and meaningful commercial analysis.

You will play a key role in supporting business performance by turning financial data into actionable insights while driving continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Provide commercial analysis and insights to support decision-making
  • Monitor financial performance and investigate variances
  • Partner with operational leaders to improve financial outcomes
  • Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
  • Support cashflow forecasting and financial modelling
  • Prepare business cases and investment analysis
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar commercial finance position
  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems capability
  • A proactive and commercially focused mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • CA, CPA, or progress towards a professional accounting qualification is highly regarded
