My client is a well-known organisation with manufacturing operations across the globe. They have a very successful business in New Zealand with a strong financial performance in 2021 and 2022. With a down to earth approach, culture is at the heart of this business, along with the values they drive from the factory floor to the board room.
Due to the existing Management Accountant being promoted, they now have a vacancy for a social, energetic individual to join the organisation in this commercial and financial leadership role.
With one direct report you will work closely with the Financial Controller, and the operations leadership team to test and measure itself, solve problems and provide valuable insights to the different leaders and divisions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Month end
- Performance measurement and analysis
- Business partnering
- Process improvement
- Strategic design and implementation
This is a great role for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit team and building strong workplace relationships, doesn’t take themselves too seriously but gets the job done. There is a small team around you and one direct report to support. This organisation is looking for a down to earth individual that likes to roll their sleeves up, but doesn’t mind mucking in to get the job done and help others to achieve the collective goals.
Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification and may be CA/CPA qualified, have some relevant industry experience, however practical experience and attitude are more important, along with a willingness to understand the business, the people and work as a team.
