The purpose of this role is to lead a team providing management accounting functions, driving the reporting, analysis and internal budget process. This includes leading, managing and mentoring a team of Management Accountants.
The team is focused on providing integrated business and financial information and advice to drive strategic direction and decisions at the branch level.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience leading and inspiring direct reports
- Excellent engagement and communication skills
- Experience developing and maintaining processes to ensure financial information is accurate and produced in a timely manner
- Experience in management reporting within large complex and diverse organisations
- Ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across an organisation
- Experience in building financial capability within teams
- A Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent and 5 years post qualification experience
- Continuous improvement initiatives focus
