As the Manager Provider Assurance you will be accountable for ensuring the Ministry has developed appropriate frameworks, tools, resources and risk profiles to enable proactive investigations and support of services where there are indicators or significant concern in respect to aspects such as irregularities in Funding submissions, regulatory and licensing non-compliance (that requires complex analysis and support).

The role will be accountable for a team (up to 12 FTE) that will integrate with the Regional Offices and provide additional assurance on the Ministry’s frontline regulatory, compliance, monitoring and evaluation expertise.

Ideally you will have:

  • Proven knowledge of regulatory systems and compliance management, including interpreting complex technical regulations, compliance and governance
  • Proven knowledge of risk management principles and practices, including investigations management or auditing risk management
  • 5-10 years managerial experience, leading nationwide teams, with ability to lead, motivate, supervise and coach individual staff members according to their abilities.
