Our client is at the cutting edge of the EV charging network. This is an organisation leading the way in supplying and building market leading products and service offerings to the NZ EV owner.
Having a nationwide network and the software to make EV adoption accessible for all New Zealanders.

The role

We are working exclusively with the Head of Growth & Commercial to identify an experienced driven Marketing & Communications lead. This is a new role and will play a pivotal role in shaping how the organisation is experienced, understood and trusted.

This role is responsible for defining the marketing strategy translating the business objectives into compelling brand narratives, integrated campaigns and meaningful customer engagement.

This is a senior end-end role blending strategic leadership with the ability to be a hands-on executor.
As a business at the forefront of the EV market and in a major growth phase the business is looking to hire someone who can look strategically but also execute. Someone who can think like the “start-up” mentality, but this business is ahead of this.
Key areas of responsibility will include delivery through a mix of agency, contractors, stakeholders and commercial teams. From brand positioning and market insights to campaign performance marketing that is focused, measured and part of the growth and mission.

• Strategic Marketing Leadership
• Brand positioning & Communications
• Plan & oversee Integrated Marketing campaigns and demand generation
• Market Insights & Customer data analysis to make commercial decisions
• Events & Industry Collaboration
• Agency & Supplier management
• Budget & Performance Reporting

To be successful in this role:

• 6-10 yrs previous experience across marketing, brand & communications
• Strong B2C & B2B experience ideally in energy, mobility, technology or networked-based business
• Proven experience developing & delivering marketing strategy
• Ability to operate both strategically & operationally
• Strong written communications, storytelling & messaging capability
• Experience managing agency, contractors, stakeholders
• Analysing data & insights
