Beyond Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Ministerial and OIA Coordinators  for a renowned government agency commencing immediately. These roles involve assisting subject matter experts to help answer OIA and Ministerial requests to legislative deadlines. The ideal candidate will have proven experience coordinating responses to requests, strong written and oral communication as well as public sector experience.

  • ASAP Start – 2 months at this stage with a possibility of it getting extended
  • Renowned government agency in the CBD
  • $35.00-$60.00 per hour depending on previous experience

Duties which are involved and benefits:

  • Manage our 4 inboxes that interface with the Minister’s Office and members of the public
  • The queries that arrive in these inboxes will need to be provided to a Senior Advisor in the Team to determine the appropriate response
  • Log the appropriate response and actions into both an excel spreadsheet as well as our Document Management System (Objective/EDRMS)
  • Collate and provide weekly updates to our Minister and Senior Leadership on our work on hand – this includes graphs as well as raw numbers.
  • Publish Official Information Act requests online
  • Draft responses to queries from members of the public on behalf of our Chief Executive

To Be Eligible for the Temporary Opportunities You Must:

  • Have a relevant Work Visa or New Zealand Permanent Residency/Citizenship
  • Available to start immediately or on a 5 day notice period
  • Currently living in Wellington
