About the role:
As an Operational Security Advisor your primary focus to provide leadership, advice and information on operational security across technical delivery.
Your core duties will include:

Setting clear Operational Security Standards and patterns for delivery

Ensuring the appropriate installation, maintenance and monitoring of security controls are in place
-
Ensure reporting on risk and security profiles is in place
-
Support and provide training where relevant to managers and staff
-
Build and maintain relationships with internal busines owners and external vendors
Skills & experience required:
-
Experience of security management principles, frameworks and controls
-
Experience training and mentoring people
-
Experience in implementing and managing security reporting and advising on security improvements
-
Knowledge of ITIL and other similar frameworks
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Ability to translate ICT security information into appropriate language for the business
-
Security orientated certification preferred
