Their portfolio includes work with some of the country’s largest names in the FMCG industry and now, due to the ongoing growth and development of their business they have a new role for an Operations Manager based at their South Auckland branch.
Reporting to the General Manger, your role will be to co-ordinate and manage a team of individuals supporting the installation of their products at their clients’ locations. As this is a pivotal position to ensure a project’s success, you will be heavily involved in the project life cycle, continuous improvement both in house and on site, setting the tactical strategy and leading the team. Your team will be critical to ensuring client satisfaction by successfully completing a project on time and to budget, while also ensuring Health and Safety protocols are. You will be the key point of contact for the day to day relationships with key stakeholders while leading each project.
You will be an experienced insightful leader, know how to manage people and to get the best out of them. With a high level of emotional intelligence, you will be able to manage and motive the team, understand, and foresee any potential obstacles and create the right strategies to accommodate. As such, it is critical you have excellent communication skills, verbally and written, with an enthusiastic can-do attitude. You will be an experienced Operations Manager, not afraid to roll up the sleeves and get stuck in when needed, but who also believes in being able to rely on his team by consistently taking an active interest in their own personal development. Key Requirements Include:
- 5+ years operations management
- Project management experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with both a diverse team and key stakeholders
- A strong focus on continuous improvement
- A good level of commercial acumen and history of contributing to the wider company goals and vision
