Due to continued growth, an exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of their Manukau-based business.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the operational performance of the business, ensuring the seamless flow of orders, inventory, equipment, service contracts, and customer deliveries. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing office, warehouse, logistics, inventory, and operational support functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the administration and operational support teams
- Managing purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and the order-to-delivery process
- Ensuring operational workflows meet customer and project delivery requirements
- Overseeing service contracts, invoicing, and debtor management
- Managing supplier relationships and stock control
- Maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organised facility
- Driving continuous improvement across operational processes
- Supporting quality, health & safety, and information security systems and compliance requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Business Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse, or Logistics leadership role
- Strong people leadership and team development skills
- Experience managing inventory, suppliers, purchasing, and service delivery functions
- A highly organised and commercially minded approach
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities
- Experience operating within regulated or quality-driven environments
- Exposure to ISO-certified management systems would be advantageous (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, or ISO/IEC 27001)
