This is a great opportunity for an experienced payroll advisor who is only looking for a part time role paying $65-75k pro rata (depending on experience), whether they’re returning to work or a bit of flexibility in terms of hours in the workday. At this relatively new government agency, you would play a key role in this small payroll team working with a payroll size of roughly 300.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in ad-hoc projects across the year and you will work closely with the Payroll Manager daily.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Full end to end processing of the fortnightly pay run
- Processing new starters and terminations
- Maintaining employee records, updating any changes in a timely fashion
- Responding to payroll related queries, escalating where required
To be successful in this role you will hold proven experience in payroll, looking after the life cycle of an employee and responding to queries using your knowledge of the holidays act and other relevant legislation. You will be confident and driven, with a high use of initiative and attention to detail as well as being a confident and experienced professional.
