The Company

Our client is a cloud-based payroll provider, based in the heart of Auckland’s CBD. Each day, they support thousands of New Zealand businesses, right across the country, with an easy-to-use solution. Due to the ongoing success and growth of the business, they are looking to recruit a new Payroll Consultant.

The Role

Reporting into the Implementation Manager, the Payroll Consultant is responsible for providing ongoing support to customers and being the point of contact for any technical questions or queries. This will include;

• Answering helpdesk and support questions via phone and email
• Supporting customers to ensure a fast and efficient resolution
• Escalating any complex or unresolved queries to the correct level
• Providing backup support and processing of customer payrolls
• Training new and existing clients, both online and onsite

About You

The ideal candidate will have an up to date knowledge of all payroll legislation, but also be an outgoing, friendly character, who enjoys speaking with and assisting customers. They will have the following;

• Previous experience in processing end-to-end payroll
• Up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation, including the Holidays Act
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Good level of IT and systems knowledge
• A collaborative, team player attitude
