This leading commercial contractor with a reputation for delivering landmark projects across healthcare, infrastructure, government, commercial and mixed-use developments. With a strong forward workload and multiple projects exceeding $40M-$200M+, they are looking to appoint an experienced Preconstruction Manager to drive project success from concept through to site commencement.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll work closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure projects are thoroughly planned, priced and de-risked before construction begins.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll work closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure projects are thoroughly planned, priced and de-risked before construction begins.
The Role
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the entire preconstruction process, including:- Leading bid and tender strategies for major commercial projects.
- Managing ECI, negotiated and traditional procurement opportunities.
- Driving programme development, methodology reviews and construction planning.
- Coordinating design, estimating, commercial and operational teams.
- Identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Managing stakeholder engagement with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Overseeing value engineering initiatives and buildability reviews.
- Supporting successful project handover to delivery teams.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you'll likely bring:- 10+ years' experience within commercial construction.
- Previous experience in preconstruction, project management, estimating or construction management.
- Strong understanding of large-scale commercial construction methodologies.
- Experience working on projects valued from $40M+.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence outcomes across multiple project disciplines.
- Strong commercial acumen and risk management capability.
