A senior opportunity has been created for an experienced Principal Advisor – Payroll Systems Specialist to act as the organisation’s subject matter expert across payroll operations and HR systems.
This role combines strategic advisory leadership with deep technical expertise, with a strong focus on SuccessFactors and employee self-service platforms. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across People Services, Finance and IT, providing guidance on complex payroll matters and leading system optimisation and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the senior escalation point for complex payroll and legislative matters (tax, superannuation, leave, compliance)

Strategic ownership and oversight of payroll systems and HR technology platforms

Lead system enhancements, upgrades, integrations and large-scale change initiatives

Drive payroll and HR data governance, reporting and insights

Provide technical leadership, mentoring and capability uplift
About You:

Extensive payroll systems experience in a large, complex organisation

Expert-level SuccessFactors experience
-
Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, risk and governance

Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on technical levels

Confident engaging senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
