This Principal Advisor, Stakeholder Engagement position is a newly created role within a values based organisation. We are seeking a highly skilled relationship developer and influencer who can build trust and confidence with teams and stakeholders.

In this role you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic engagement. You will be developing the stakeholder plan and framework which will be used to measure the ongoing performance and achievement of the strategy goals.

Key Areas of Accountability:

  • Lead the development of the stakeholder and engagement strategy and the day-to-day stakeholder engagement workload and activities across the business
  • Develop strong and respectful relationships with key stakeholder to anticipate and identify mutually beneficial opportunities and achieve goals set out in the stakeholder and engagement strategy
  • Research and develop a best practice framework for the purposes of measuring the achievement of milestones and deliverables set out in the stakeholder and engagement strategy
  • Produce robust advice based on sound research and evidence that will be subject to challenge
  • Offer a diversity of thinking, perspective and approach to mitigate conflict
  • Be a brand guardian and champion for the organisation

  • Sound research and problem-solving analysis skills, both technical and people focussed including demonstrated critical, analytical and systems thinking skills
  • Confident decision maker with demonstrated problem-solving skills to manage and mitigate reputational risk
