Come and join our engaged and supportive Communications, Engagement and Events team as one of our four Aporei/Principal Advisors. We need your strategic insight, innovative thinking and previous enterprise-level internal communications experience. We're refreshing our internal communications approach, giving you the chance to make your mark on how we engage and inform our kaimahi, who are based right around the motu.
Our internal communications function will focus on enabling our kaimahi to thrive - so they, in turn, can support whānau to thrive.
As a successful candidate you will have:
- Expertise in communication best practice and you maintain an up-to-date knowledge of communications tools and techniques.
- Experience delivering effective internal communications in a dispersed organisation.
- Public sector communications experience preferred.
- A qualification in communications, public relations or similar preferred.
- Understanding of and experience in communicating in a way that connects with te ao Māori.
- An ability to coach and mentor junior communications staff.
- A can-do attitude.
- A willingness to continue your professional development, including taking part in the team's māhere reo (te reo Māori) journey.
